This position will support and work with a group that r esearches, designs, and develops nuclear reactors.

This position can be remote.

Job Details:

• Perform detail component, system and design engineering activities including drawings, calculations, and reports.
• Must have ASME Code Section III and VIII experience
• Perform component design, with an understanding of incorporating assembly, testing and inspection of mechanical components and system functions within the design.
• Implement design control and configuration control concepts.
• Implement concepts of design for manufacturing and system operations.
• Learn a variety of new procedures, processes and tools while maintaining various stages of production.
• Specify procurement requirements for mechanical components or system operability.

Requirements:

•           Bachelors’ degree in Engineering discipline is required
•           Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required.
•           Experience with ANSYS software is desired
•           Must have experience working with nuclear reactor core components, reactor vessel and reactor vessel head components.
•           Must have working knowledge of ASME Code, Section III and VIII, specifically
•           Must have knowledge of project engineering activities
•           Must be a U.S. Citizen
•           Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance
