The Department of Chemistry at Virginia Tech invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant Professor level in organic chemistry with expertise in synthetic methodology, medicinal chemistry, and/or catalysis, with an intended start date of Fall 2024.

Potential candidates must have a Ph.D. in chemistry or a closely related field (by appointment start date), establish an internationally recognized research program, be an effective teacher in graduate and undergraduate courses, and have a commitment to developing a culturally diverse educational environment. The Department of Chemistry is committed to building an inclusive community of chemists through programs and activities that are woven into the department's research, teaching, and outreach efforts.
