Job Description

The Department of Finance in the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech seeks a highly qualified candidate for Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor of Practice with tenure-track. Anticipated for one or more openings beginning Fall 2024. This position will teach undergraduate and graduate courses. Conduct and publish top quality research in Finance. Participate in departmental, college and university committees. Advise and mentor students.

Required Qualifications

Must hold a doctoral degree in Finance or a related field by August 10, 2024.
Be committed to the pursuit of high-quality research and teaching excellence.
Applicable evidence of research with publications or demonstrate promise to publish in top-tier Finance journals.
Occasional travel to attend professional conferences and meetings.
