Job Description

Teaching assignments will be primarily in courses amongst Physical, Organic, Instrumental or Analytical offerings, depending on expertise. Those specializing in Physical Organic are particularly encouraged to apply. The Department Chair will make specific assignments for courses each semester. Duties will include preparation of course materials, presentation of topics, coordination of GTAs involved, grading, assisting students individually, and other such activities as may be required to accomplish the instruction function.

Required Qualifications

Possession of a Ph.D. in chemistry or an appropriate related discipline at time of appointment. Experience in teaching at the collegiate level.

Experience with teaching in a large university environment
