Job Title: Manufacturing Process Engineer

Compensation Range: $80,000 - $100,000 (Based upon work experiences)

Work Schedule: 1st Shift / 40-hour work week / Monday - Friday

Job Type: Direct / Full Time / Permanent

Location: Christiansburg VA

Scope of Job Responsibilities:
  • Process work streams the Industrial Slip Rings operation teams and technical leadership responsibilities.
  • Oversee manufacturing processes and management of multi-shift personnel working within the work streams.
  • Manage the activities of personnel and processes needed for Quality Control specs for the plating process.
  • Analyze test panels and making tank adjustments.
  • Work with Site Managers, support business, performance, and strategic objectives.
  • Accountable for technical KPIs, manufacturing processes, and personnel management within the work stream.
  • Manage the competing duties of project work, personnel management, and production demands.
  • Manage the front-end manufacturing for quality products for several work streams and services.
  • Support the End Item delivery to customers.
  • Lead the work streams, provide expertise to develop, maintain, and improve the necessary manufacturing processes.
  • Problem-solve technical challenges, have best practices for quality, safety, personnel and staff for overall business objectives.
  • Lead and coach the team responsibilities, ie: employee development, performance, counseling, and conflict resolution.
  • Accept input and direction from multiple layers in the organization.
  • Interpret, complete, and suggest improvements and maintain a positive team environment
  • Influence Direct, Indirect, and Peer personnel and manage lean initiatives and strategic objectives.
  • Create and develop SOPs, safety and process improvements, and promote workplace best practices for performances.
Job Requirements
Required Work Skills and Education:
  • BS Degree in Engineering, Science or related field
  • 3 years of proven Process Management and team leadership skills
  • 3 years experience in a large manufacturing environment
