You have completed a BS in Engineering, Science, or Business or comparable experience in lieu of degree. You may have also obtained an advanced degree in similar fields. You have worked in a related role for at least 5 years and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

Your Opportunity

This full-time role is about making an impact on people's lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Nuclear Systems Product Manager in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the Installed Base Business Unit. Under broad supervision, you will own and manage a portfolio of IBPE nuclear systems and engineering products and services from development through retirement. You will follow the industry developments and identify new product opportunities. You will drive to bridge the gap between customer needs and current products. Your work will include:

  • Understand and manage product and services life cycles
  • Own new product and services development ideation, develop and manage product roadmaps linked to segments
  • Act as the end-to-end product development manger from product conception to product launch for at least 3-4 new products each year
  • Stay informed of new research areas and evolving trends and use the information to help shape new products/services and distribution channels; participate in technical committees, conferences, and industry groups
  • Be the bridge between business lines and customers; develop key customer relationships and shaping of opportunities
  • Anticipate customer needs and willingness to pay; position products and services based on comprehensive understanding of competitive offerings and value considering value pricing and profitability
  • Design and execute impactful market research studies; drive to conclusions and actionable recommendations for the business
  • Regularly review the existing product portfolio to identify alternative applications, update positioning, enhancements, retirements
  • Deliver ambitious products with tight timelines; collaborate with customers, engineering, sales, and marketing

The Framatome Installed Base Business - Products and Engineering (IBPE) is the go-to partner for high-value engineering expertise and innovative products for the commercial nuclear fleet, DOE, and Advanced Reactors. This position is offered in the IBPE Product Development team which is responsible for the development and management of products and addressing changing customer needs with Framatome solutions.

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $82,000 - $111,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
