This position has the opportunity to work two days per week remotely and three days per week onsite.
Partners with HR Business Directors to understand business strategies, diagnose current organization and business unit performance. Develops and maintains effective relationships with Carilion Clinic leaders in order to anticipate needs and assist HR Business Directors to successfully aligning business unit strategies with the broader HR services function and overall Carilion Clinic objectives. Maintains close working relationship with HR colleagues in order to utilize centralized HR expertise in the Centers of Expertise (COE) and in HR Operations. Position will primarily be working in Women's/Ped's, HR Compliance, ADA, and policies/procedures, and subpoenas.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field required. Master's degree in Human Resources or Business strongly preferred.
Experience: Three to Five years of HR experience required.
Licensure/Certification: None required. Professional certification (PHR, SPHR, CEBS) preferred.
Other Minimum Qualifications: Must have good communications, program/project management, facilitation, decision-making, critical thinking and listening skills. Must have proven problem solving, mediation and analysis experience. Must be self-directed and motivated. Must have the ability to multi-task and manage time in a complex environment.
