How You'll Help Transform Healthcare:


Provides financial analytics and negotiation leadership for the assigned support departments with the goal of attaining the optimal balance of quality, service, availability, and value. Works closely with key stakeholders, hospital administration and clinical/physician staff to develop effective financial cost reduction strategies and implementation plans. Analyzes the financial impact of products, services and contracts with the goal of maximizing the hospital's financial performance, while maintaining world class clinical outcomes. Utilizes all available tools to gain market knowledge and to access best pricing of assigned categories.

  • Tracks and reports savings, price variances, quality metrics to Management monthly.
  • Conducts accurate and complex financial analysis of proposal submissions with a focus on total cost of ownership.
  • Compares analysis outcome to market trends and benchmarking data.
  • Ensures all savings are tracked per team requirements to meet overall savings goals.
  • Gathers quantitative and qualitative information and analyzes data to provide valid conclusions, recommendations, and action plans.
  • Performs quantitative data analysis and support for strategic sourcing projects (supplier research, master data, market basket analysis, pricing analysis, etc).
  • Leads the competitive bid/strategic sourcing process.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with stakeholders and leadership promoting and expanding the sourcing process within assigned projects.
  • Reviews contractual language for risk mitigation and communicates with internal stakeholders, project teams and operational support teams.
What We Require:


Education: BS Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or other technical/mathematical field.MBA with quantitative background or other Advanced Degree preferred

Experience: 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in Supply Chain management or Accounting/Finance, Value Analysis, Contract Administration, Vendor Management or Purchasing required.

Other Minimum Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes as well as basic knowledge in a vast array of direct and indirect commodities.
  • A quick learner and aptitude for new systems and technology.
  • Advanced proficiency in relevant computer systems and applications.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with a commitment to task completion.
  • Leadership qualities, including the ability to lead, innovate, and assertively contribute.
  • Adaptability and resilience in the face of change and pressure.
  • Very detail-oriented, able to identify anomalies and errors in data, and to capture trends to apply to planning model.
  • Able to assess a variety of information, draw similarities, identify differences, and compile actionable recommendations.
  • Extensive MS Office Knowledge - ability to create and manipulate datasets. Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to maintain confidentiality.
