• Supports Carilion's hallmarks of service excellence and quality for all job responsibilities.
• Supervises day-to-day operations/activities of the Gift Shop to ensure quality service.
• Interviews, selects, orients, and trains new employees to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
• Oversight includes supervision of staff, operating hours, Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Some product buys, and product receiving, deposits, cash flow, marketing, and customer service.
• Responsible for meeting monthly/yearly sales goals
• Teams with Carilion retain areas for centralized product receiving and distribution.

Education: Associate degree in business or related field required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of related experience required; demonstrated customer service skills and 2 years' experience in a leadership role preferred.

Licensure, certification and/or registration: Valid Virginia driver's license.

Other Minimum Qualifications: Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills. Effective interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills required. Must be able to handle numerous projects and deadlines simultaneously. Computer skills sufficient to meet key objectives of the position.
