We're actively seeking a talented Client Solutions Consultant to join our Partner Solutions team. This role can be fully remote or hybrid based in Newport Beach, CA, Omaha, NE or Lynchburg, VA.

As a Client Solutions Consultant you'll move Pacific Life, and your career, forward by applying your expertise in benefits administration technology to provide an industry-leading, first-class frictionless enrollment experience to our employers in the Workforce Benefits division. You will fill an existing role that sits on a team of 6 people in the Workforce Benefits division. Your colleagues will include Client and Partner Solutions Consultants and Specialists - professionals in the area of benefits technology.

How you'll help move us forward:

  • Maintain ongoing relationship with technology counterparts at one or more Benefits Technology vendor partners.

  • Serves as subject matter expert on enrollment flows for assigned partnerships.

  • Develop enrollment strategies for various broker and client segments that maximize participation and written premium.

  • Partner with Marketing on digital collateral that helps promote our technology solutions in the marketplace (e.g., webinars, social media, e-mail)

  • Understand and effectively communicate Pacific's Life technology ecosystem to customers, brokers, and other audiences.

  • Understand the competitive landscape and position Pacific Life's solutions effectively against it.

  • Stay up to date on industry trends and provide feedback loop for ongoing feature development.

  • Conduct technical and sales demos to brokers, clients, or other entities.

  • Guide potential clients through onboarding phase during initial and ongoing enrollments.

  • Achieve aggressive growth goals with assigned partners.

  • Assist with growing the knowledge and understanding of our technology solutions with internal partners through training and consultation.

  • Grow the knowledge of and comfort with our technology solutions with internal partners.

  • Understand regulatory and compliance landscape related to enrollment and group benefits.

  • Works within departmental controls for all aspects of the role.

  • Demonstrate a customer-centric mindset with problem-solving skillset.

  • Participates and contributes to team meetings or special tasks and assignments and brings innovative ideas and a continuous improvement mindset to the department.

  • Job performance must meet department standards for work prioritization, productivity, quality and timeliness.

  • Identifies, understands and ensures that actions, behaviors and decisions are consistent with the department, division and Pacific Life Mission & Vision.


The experience you bring:

  • College degree or equivalent experience preferred

  • 3-5 years in worksite or voluntary benefits industry

  • Understanding of technology ecosystems specifically within the FinTech industry

  • Effective written and oral communication

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to present to all levels with both internal and external stakeholders

  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills

  • Intermediate skills with MS office applications

Occasional travel to client, vendor, or broker sites

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$83,880.00 - $102,520.00
